GET IN THE GAME!

Football season is upon us, as is another very important season in our community. The United Way of North Central Mississippi's campaign season starts in September and runs until early November… and your MSU Campaign Committee invites you to GET IN THE GAME! We are living during some of the most challenging economic times ever, and the needs in our community are great. Your Campaign Committee's faith in the people of Mississippi State is strong. MSU people support each other… period. Most of us have interacted with United Way agencies, perhaps through Boy or Girl Scouts, the American Red Cross, or the Oktibbeha County Humane Society. Our local United Way affiliate supports 21 agencies, 18 of which are in Oktibbeha County. Perhaps you have a favorite… this year, you can designate your giving to the agency of your choice.

We've set a goal of $115,000 and are confident that the MSU family will rise to the occasion to reach the goal. Each division is planning fun events, but we'd also like to invite you to a picnic at The Junction on September 24th. For a $5 donation, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch AND support United Way! Additionally, we've added a campus-wide silent auction this year. Stay tuned for more details about it… but we have tremendous items you will want to bid on!

Again, GET IN THE GAME and help us reach our goal. Working together as a team, we can do it….
