United Way at Mississippi State
In the spirit of reaching out to make a difference in our community, we hope that you will participate in the 2015-2016 United Way campaign by making a pledge or contribution. Donations made to the United Way of North Central Mississippi remain right here in our community and will positively impact hundreds of lives. All gifts and pledges are confidential and any amount given helps to make a difference.
You can make a financial contribution to the United Way in one of the following ways:
1. Go online to http://www.unitedway.msstate.edu click on the “Payroll Deduction” link. From there, you will be guided through the necessary steps to make your payroll deduction pledge.
2. To make a one-time contribution or to send your contribution directly to the United Way office, go to http://www.unitedway.msstate.edu and click on the “United Way Brochure” link and print out the form. You may also choose to fill out the pledge card in the United Way brochure included with this letter. With either the printed or brochure form, fill it out and mail it to the United Way of North Central Mississippi, P.O. Box 1603, Starkville, MS 39760. You can choose your method of payment as outlined on the pledge form.
3. If you or your department choose to turn in your donations as a group, please send the pledge cards to Leslie Corey in Human Resources Management at Campus Mail Stop 9603. From there, the pledge cards and donations will be picked up by a United Way representative.
Many donors choose to make a “Fair Share” gift of one hour’s pay per month. There is a link marked “Your Fair Share” on the homepage of the above website that allows you to figure what a “Fair Share” gift would be. Cash, check or credit card donations are accepted. You may also choose to be billed monthly, quarterly or annually.
The United Way appreciates your continued support. You can learn more about the impact the United Way’s agencies are making in Oktibbeha, Choctaw, Winston and Webster counties by visiting our website at http://www.unitedwayncms.com. A student United Way chapter has been chartered at MSU, and you will be able to learn more about the work the student volunteers will do in the coming weeks via the website.
Questions can be directed to Leslie Corey, MSU Human Resources Management, firstname.lastname@example.org, 662-325-2228.
Thank you again for helping us to build a stronger community. United is the Mississippi State Way!
